Angry Green Planet
Terra Form
April 2000 75p
24 pages A5 B&W
3 years ago, Milo attempts to terraform Mars while Angel has a bizarre encounter.
Tony McGee's enigmatic sci-fi story reaches its conclusion. Frustratingly vague in places, yet beautifully evocative too. McGee handles relationships very well, and his art provides some nice facial expressions to go along with this. And there's a lot to be said for not answering all the questions.
7/10
The title's obviously a play on that appalling 50's B movie about Mars, Angry Red Planet. I must've read half a dozen books on Mars and terraforming to prepare for this issue, and I ending up using practically none of it.
