Luke discovers that there's some things you can't run away from...
Running away from a disastrous relationship, Luke picks up a young hitchhiker who helps him clear his head. This series is not quite slice of life-style, as it does clearly have a dramatic plot. Tony McGee proves a deft scripter and a wonderful artist with a slick, cinematic tone.

The title really should have been Luke, but as it was also Vikki's story, I went with a line from another Lloyd Cole song. Ah, where would DW be without the Lloydster? I think growing up everyone feels like running away from it all at some point, but the idea here was what if you actually went ahead and did it?
